Data privacy

Why is data protection particularly important at swoice?

Free networking of content on the Internet is only possible if the protection of your personal data is secure right from the start and throughout the entire processing chain. That is why secure and anonymised handling of data is swoice's guiding principle when it comes to data protection.

Anonymity

You remain anonymous when setting and marking #tags.

No Tracking

Nobody wants to be tracked by others. That's why there is no tracking at swoice. Tracking for search queries or when opening new sites is a no-go for us.

No Cookies

swoice does not use cookies by default. A technical cookie is only required when you are logged in and is deleted when you log out. Here too, personal identifiability by third parties is completely excluded.

Data minimisation

We have made it our goal to work as data-efficiently as possible. When you register, we only need your e-mail address, the user name of your choice and a password. We do not require any further data for your registration with swoice.

IP addresses

We only store IP addresses in accordance with the current statutory retention periods.

Localisation of marked #tags

When localising marked #tags, the country, district and city are extracted from your IP address. Your IP address is not saved.

Verify code

We want to protect swoice from trolls. That's why we send you a verification code to your mobile phone number by SMS from time to time. The phone number you send us will only be used for this purpose.

European data protection

Your personal data is securely protected by us in Germany in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our data protection is certified according to EU data protection law.
